‘Real Estate’ Star Cate Blanchett to Return to ‘Modern Family’ in New Role

CATE BLANDT WILL RETURN to “Modern Family” for its 10th season, EW has learned.

Blanchet, who will join the show’s cast in the series premiere in May, will join her co-stars Matt Bomer, Rachel Bilson, David Schwimmer, and James Brolin for a spinoff titled “The Bachelorette.”

Blanchets upcoming co-star, Bomer recently announced that he is leaving the show after six seasons.

Blanchot and Bomer previously appeared on “The Bachelor,” which also has a new star, Nick Viall.

“Modern Masters” premieres May 16.

“It’s a real treat to be back,” Blanchetz said in a statement.

“We have a lot of fun and can’t wait to get started.

We love playing this new show and I can’t get over how much I’ve grown as a person over the years.

I’m excited to bring some fresh faces to the show and play with some old friends.”

Blanchott will appear in the season finale of “Modern” on June 7.

“I am excited to be on the show again for the 10th Season,” she said.

“My role on the ‘Modern’ franchise has changed and I’m so happy to be joining the team again.

The ‘Modern Masters’ crew is the best!

I can not wait to meet all of them!”
