WISCONSIN — Students who attend Wisconsin Real Estate School will be able to pay just $1.50 for tuition and fees for their first semester.
Students enrolled in the school will pay just over $1 a week.
The school has been a model for low-cost education in Wisconsin for years, offering students tuition and other fees for a semester, with many paying less than $200 a month.
The Wisconsin Real Property Board announced the new program Wednesday.
“We’re really excited to offer this new program to Wisconsin students,” said Jessica Riggs, the board’s chief marketing officer.
“This program is one of the first in the country to offer such low tuition and fee rates to Wisconsin residents and is also a very popular one for students.”
Students will be eligible for the program beginning in the fall of 2019.
The first students who sign up will pay $5,500.
Students will also receive a monthly stipend of $1 per week and a discount on the price of their home, up to $2,000.
